This course introduces the fundamental concepts and techniques used in the Design of Linear Systems. Students will learn how to analyze system behavior and design controllers using classical and modern control methods. Topics include system stability, transient and steady-state response, Root Locus, frequency-response techniques, Bode plots, controller design, and an introduction to state-space methods. The course emphasizes intuitive understanding, step-by-step problem solving, and practical engineering applications.
Digital Control introduces the principles of controlling dynamic systems using digital computers and microcontrollers. The course covers sampling, discrete-time signals, z-transform, system modeling, stability, digital controllers, and practical simulation of control systems.
The Dynamic Systems and Control course focuses on studying the behavior of engineering systems over time, including their mathematical modeling, transfer-function representation, and response analysis, with emphasis on understanding the relationship between system inputs and outputs and evaluating dynamic performance.
